Pucker Up: Writing a Kissing Scene

Even though it’s the last day of the month, I figure it’s worth posting.

As readers, we root for a kiss to happen between the characters who we know are just meant to be together in a novel.  When it finally happens, we inwardly cheer (okay, sometimes outwardly as well) and then move on.

  1. Lots of good little notes in that article, though I recommend we always think of their audience when we write any sort of physical interaction. I did chuckle at the tip about groaning, though. 🙂
